The Black Heart Procession is an American indie rock band from San Diego, California. Formed in 1997 by Pall Jenkins and Tobias Nathaniel, who were previously members of Three Mile Pilot.

The band has created haunting, atmospheric music that blends elements of dark folk, experimental rock, and gothic americana. Their unique sound often features unconventional instruments including saw, waterphone, and organ, creating a distinctively dark and melancholic atmosphere.
